The number one cause of patio failure in BC is poor drainage and insufficient compaction. While other installers might cut corners on what you can't see, we spend the majority of our project time below the surface—ensuring the sub-grade is over-engineered for the weight it will carry. We use a multi-layer compaction process and premium crushed rock to guarantee a surface that stays level for decades, not just seasons.
PROCESS
How it works.
It starts with a surgical excavation. We remove the organic material and replace it with a structural road-base gravel, compacted in 2-inch lifts to 98% density. Once the foundation is set, we lay the stones with laser precision, ensuring proper fall for water runoff away from your house. After the pavers are set and cut, we vibrate them into the bedding sand and finish with a high-performance polymeric joint sand that prevents weeds and ants from ever taking hold.
